Laurent Pelly’s take on the timeless tale of the princess Cinderella (Cendrillon) makes the audience relive the magic of this whimsical world of the famous princess, but now opera style.

Having received endless standing ovations across New York and London, Cinderella, the opera, had to have its turn in Australia. The acclaimed production overflows with charm, as the beloved fairy tale comes to life in a staging with plenty of humour, stunning visuals and stage production, and captivating music.

Massenet’s captivating score pairs beautifully with Pelly’s brilliant choreography and stunning costumes worn by the best actors possible in the continent to interpret this astounding opera. The set has been designed by Barbara de Limburg, who took inspiration from an antique illustrated book, which completes the already enchanting production, filling the stage with details that make the difference.
