Idle is a GRAMMY Winner and Tony Nominee who has co-written and starred in Monty Python's most memorable works like the Holy Grail (1975), Life of Brian (1979), and The Meaning of Life (1983), as well as composing cherished songs like Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, proving his love for comedy throughout different media.
Eric Idle has also created the Rutland Weekend Television (1975–1976), hosted Saturday Night Live four times (1976–1979) and appeared in countless films.
