Fontaines D.C. is a rock band from Dublin, Ireland, that has quickly gained global recognition with their unique blend of post-punk and alternative rock.

Grian Chatten (vocals), Conor Curley (guitar), Carlos O'Connell (guitar), Conor Deegan (bass), and Tom Coll (drums) formed the band in 2014; since then, they have put out multiple albums that showcase a remarkable evolution from local Dublin venues to international acclaim.

Their music is characterised by raw energy, poetic lyricism, and a deep connection to their Irish roots, which is remarked within their band name, as the "D.C." in their name stands for "Dublin City".
