From his humble beginnings as a bastard and Caribbean outsider, Hamilton’s relentless ambition propelled him to become a key military figure and George Washington’s right-hand man. During his years as a teenage clerk, he proved his prowess and a group of elders was able to team up to send Hamilton to King's College, the now Columbia University in New York. From there, his heart was set to achieve glory in the War of Independence, leading a bayonet in the last major battle of the war. During the same period, he manages to co-found the first bank in North America and to marry Elizabeth Schuyler. Working as a lawyer in New York, Hamilton helps in the forging of the US Constitution, eventually becoming George Washington’s Treasury Secretary.
