Plot
Based on the hit movie from 1992, Sister Act is a comedic and uplifting musical that follows Deloris Van Cartier, a lounge singer who witnesses a murder and is forced to enter a witness protection program. In order to keep her safe, the police decides to conceal her in a place where no one would suspect of her; a convent.
There, she finds it difficult to blend in with the other sisters and the nun lifestyle, but with her bold personality changes everything as she takes over the church choir, transforming it with her infectious energy.
Throughout her stay in the convent, Deloris builds unlikely friendships with the sisters and brings a new light to the convent, all while evading the criminals that are looking for her.
