Massenet’s captivating score pairs beautifully with Pelly’s brilliant choreography and stunning costumes worn by the best actors possible in the continent to interpret this astounding opera. The set has been designed by Barbara de Limburg, who took inspiration from an antique illustrated book, which completes the already enchanting production, filling the stage with details that make the difference.
