Elphaba's story wouldn't be without the cheerful Glinda, a blonde and popular witch who she meets and with whom begins an unexpected frienship. Both embark on journeys of self-discovery through the Land of Oz as they fight for their morals and face the labels of being "good" and "wicked".

This musical has won over 100 awards, including the Grammy Award and three Tony Awards, with memorable songs like Popular and Defying Gravity which have made Wicked The Musical one of the most celebrated and cherished musicals ever.

Plot

Before Dorothy arrives to the Land of Oz, two young witches meet at university. Elphaba, who was born with an emerald-green skin, has immense talent and magical abilities, and Glinda, is a popular and charismatic blonde. Although they first meet as rivals, they become friends and start to develop a deep bond that will help them on their life challenges and seld-discovery.

One will be deemed as "good", and the other as "wicked", and through friendship, humour, and drama, Wicked explores the importance of identity and frienship.

Wicked The Musical is performed at the Crown Theatre Perth, with address Great Eastern Hwy, Burswood WA 6100, Australia, Perth. To get to the Crown Theatre Perth, you can take the:

• Bus: you can easily take the bus (270, 39, 935, 940, 651) to the Crown Theatre Perth as the venue is located near to a crossroad which provides bus services coming from the North, South, East and West of Perth.
• Train: the nearest train station to the Crown Theatre is Burswood Station which is on the Armdale & Thornlie train lines. There is a bus which leaves from the train station to Crown Perth every 15 minutes.
• Taxi: if you are planning on taking a taxi, there is a taxi rank at the Crown outside the main casino Entrance and at the Riverside Entrance.
• Car: there is extensive parking available at the Crown complex car park.
