Gavin James is a renowned singer-songwriter from Dublin, Ireland, whose soulful music has been praised for capturing intimate feelings along to his own style of pop and acoustic music.

James has honed his craft performing in Dublin's pubs and busking on Grafton Street, now being an international acclaimed artist. He comes from a musically rich background, as his great-grandparents and his sister are also singers. This way, James has dedicated his entire life to music, playing guitar as early as eight years old.

Gavin James has put out multiple EPs and albums such as Say Hello (2012), which earned the Meteor Choice Music Prize for Song of the Year in 2013, and his first studio album, Bitter Pill (2015), which achieved Platinum status in Ireland. He has also collaborated with multiple artists like Mark McCabe, or Mark Ralph and Fiona Bevan in his 2022 album The Sweetest Part.

Sharing their love for Irish pubs, Ed Sheeran and Gavin james met up at a Dublin pub, which eventuallly led to James opening for Sheeran at the iconic Croke Park stadium. James has also expressed the importance of revitalising pubs in this way to foster space for emerging talent, even purchasing the historic Doyle's Corner bar in Phibsborough, Dublin.
