The Gravity Discovery Centre & Observatory is a hands-on science hub located at the north of Perth. This centre allows its visitors to get curious about physics, astronomy, and Aboriginal starlore like no other place.
The centre offers a wide range of opportunities to discover more about all things related to the stars with interactive exhibits, immersive experiences, and breathtaking stargazing opportunities. If you enter the Discovery Gallery, you will be able to explore the laws of motion and gravity through fun and engaging experiments like the Magnetic Cart and Bernoulli Ball. But, if you go to the Cosmology Gallery, you'll find the NIOBE on display, which is the first gravitational wave detector in the southern hemisphere.
Inside the Gravity Discovery Centre you will also get to learn and immerse yourself in the Solar System Walk, which stretches one kilometer through native bushland, the Leaning Tower of Gingin, the Australian Shaman Exhibition, and its fascinating telescopes that help you observe the Milky Way.
All in all, a great opportunity to spend the day combining science and knowledge with technology and fun!
