Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox is a music collective founded by pianist and arranger Scott Bradlee in 2011, known for their retro-inspired covers.
This unique band transforms modern pop hits into vintage styles like jazz, swing, and doo-wop, creating an original sound not often seen these days. Their cover of the iconic rock song Creep in 2014 brought them acclaim, as well as All About That Bass (2015), reimagined as a swinging 1940s hit.
Their vintage reinterpretations come along with their aesthetic, accompanying their music style with their overall image. This artistry has made them stand out with albums like Historical Misappropriation (2014) and Swipe Right for Vintage (2015) highlight this retro aesthetic. Collaborating with a rotating cast of vocalists, including Haley Reinhart and Morgan James amongst others, Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox is a once-in-a-lifetime musical experience.
