Two Door Cinema Club is an indie rock Northern Irish band formed in 2007. With Alex Trimble as the lead vocalist, Sam Halliday at the guitar, and Kevin Baird and the bass, they reached global recognition with their track What You Know (2010).
The band is known for blending catchy and upbeat melodies with their indie rock, electropop and dance-punk influences, creating a unique and characterising sound. This can also be seen on other of their cherished songs like Undercover Martyn (2010), Something Good Can Work (2020), Sun (2012), and Gameshow (2016).
Keeping their signature lively tone, Two Door Cinema Club is also applauded for mixing their lyrics with captivating guitar riffs and vibrant synths. Their feel-good energy started from recording in a home studio; since then, the band has continuously toured around the world, proving to put on engaging live shows every time.
