Nestled in the heart of Darwin City, the park showcases the world’s largest display of Australian reptiles and offers multiple crocodile related experiences like swimming with juvenile crocs, feeding one of them from a platform and even an amazing crocodile show! 

But while the crocodiles may steal the show, Crocosaurus Cove offers a diverse range of reptiles to discover. You can also encounter the frill-necked lizard with its impressive neck display and come eye-to-eye with a variety of snakes, including pythons and venomous species that will surely impress you. Cage of Death

The most famous attraction in all of Crocosaurus Cave, you will meet one of their massive saltwater crocodiles from the safety of a cage and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you will never forget. Only for the bravest!

Reptile House

Home to over 70 species of reptiles, the Reptile House boasts the largest display of Australian Reptiles. While these reptiles are from all over Australia, most reptiles on display are from the Northern Territory and the Kimberly region.

Big Croc Feed Show

Experience an enormous saltwater crocodile being fed whilst you learn all about their habits, impressive ability to live for over 200 million years! The star of the show, Burt, will undoubtedly wow you with his sheer size! !

Swim With Crocs

With only the glass to separate you - come face to face with Crocosaurus Cove's young Crocodiles! Swim in a glass tank alongside the crocs in a completely safe and controlled environment.  

Fishing For Crocs

Whilst standing from the safety of a platform, you and your group can fish among the almost 100 juvenile crocs and experience them bring their whole bodies out of the water.

Hold a Baby Croc

There is no doubt when these crocs are young they’re cute and you can enjoy the unique opportunity of holding one!

Freshwater Aquarium

How to get there

The Crocosaurus address is: 58 Mitchell St, Darwin City NT 0800, Australia. 

Located in the centre of Darwin’s CBD, Crocosaurus Cove is easy to get to by both car and public transport.  

  • Car: if you are coming from the Stuart Hwy, go into Darwin City and turn onto Daly Street, then turn left onto Mitchell Street. There is parking available at the CBD, you can also pay for parking in the Mitchell Centre, in the Chinatown Car Park and on Cavenagh Street. 
  • Bus: there are several buses which go to the Darwin interchange and then you can easily walk from there.

Access

There is free entry available to Australian Carers caring for someone in their care. All you need is a Carer Card to the ticket desk on entry or free entry.

Caters for people with sufficient mobility as there are a few steps and for those who use a wheelchair.

Good The croc cage is heaps of fun! Only place you can do a croc dive in oz i think. Amazing place to explore the northern territory as well.

Good Watched my son do the cage and it looks terrifying!! But all very safe. There are lots of other crocodile related activities too.
