During your visit, you will be able to embark on a fascinating journey aboard their historic 100-year-old Ginger Train, as you stroll through lush subtropical gardens while revealing the fascinating story of ginger cultivation. For a magical adventure, visitors can hop on the Overboard, a beautiful boat ride that will take you on a captivating journey brought to life by 200 handmade moving puppets. But that's not all, because the park also has multiple educational activities, where you can learn all about ginger production and history, beekeeping and even taste some of their amazing honey!

All aboard the Ginger Train! An exciting ride through the lush tropical gardens of the Ginger Factory, this historic train is over 100 years old and was once a sugar cane train working at the Moreton Sugar Mill and is undoubtedly a must-visit!
Full of exhilarating tunnels, stairs, slides, climbing ropes and colourful balls, the kids play area is the perfect place for the little ones to run free in a safe and secure way whilst visiting the Ginger Factory.

Do you want to know what a day in the life of a beekeeper is like? Then this is the perfect experience for you. One of the park experienced beekeepers will show you all about life in the hive, show you different species and even try some of their delicious honey.

The Ginger Factory opens every day of the week from 9 am to 5pm. They only close their doors on Christmas day.
Enjoy a bite to eat at the Ginger Cafe, which has a delicious menu offering an incredible selection of the Sunshine Coast’s seasonal produce.
You can also grab a tasty ice-cream from the ice creamery which has a huge variety of tastes available!
The whole park is accessible apart from the overboard boat ride.
There are also wheelchairs available on site - all you need is your personal id in order to loan one of these wheelchairs.
