Hailed as the Sunshine Coast's premier tourist attraction, The Ginger Factory offers a day full of ginger-related fun.
Located just north of Brisbane, The Ginger Factory has an amazing range of activities that wil be enjoyed by all the family. During your visit, you will be able to embark on a fascinating journey aboard their historic 100-year-old Ginger Train, as you stroll through lush subtropical gardens while revealing the fascinating story of ginger cultivation. For a magical adventure, visitors can hop on the Overboard, a beautiful boat ride that will take you on a captivating journey brought to life by 200 handmade moving puppets. But that's not all, because the park also has multiple educational activities, where you can learn all about ginger production and history, beekeeping and even taste some of their amazing honey!

The Ginger Train
All aboard the Ginger Train! An exciting ride through the lush tropical gardens of the Ginger Factory, this historic train is over 100 years old and was once a sugar cane train working at the Moreton Sugar Mill and is undoubtedly a must-visit!
Kids Play Areas
Full of exhilarating tunnels, stairs, slides, climbing ropes and colourful balls, the kids play area is the perfect place for the little ones to run free in a safe and secure way whilst visiting the Ginger Factory.
Overboard
With music and animated puppetry, the Ginger Factory is a tumultuous, fun-filled adventure which offers over 200 handmade moving puppets. An incredible ginger experience, overboard is one of the Ginger Factory’s most unique features!

Zog Trail
In this opportunity, specially created for children, they will have the opportunity to journey through the rainforest and thanks to the augmented reality app, follow the trail in search of Princess Pearl, Madam Dragon, Zog and his friends.
Live Bee Show & Tastings
Do you want to know what a day in the life of a beekeeper is like? Then this is the perfect experience for you. One of the park experienced beekeepers will show you all about life in the hive, show you different species and even try some of their delicious honey.
Rainbrella Project
Stroll through a wonderful path filled with rainbow umbrellas, created in collaboration with local Sunshine Coast artist Sophy Blake symbolising a community full of hope!

- Car:if you are travelling by car, follow the Bruce Highway (M1) to the Yadina/Coolum exit and then follow the signs, take exit 215.
- Bus: Catch Bus Route 631 and get down at Yandina Station
Calendar 2024
The Ginger Factory opens every day of the week from 9 am to 5pm. They only close their doors on Christmas day.
