About

The Gorge Wildlife Park, nestled in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, stands as a cherished sanctuary since its establishment by a dedicated family in 1965.

Spanning 14 acres, the park boasts the largest privately owned array of Australian wildlife, offering intimate encounters with native species and captivating exhibits of both Australian and exotic animals and birds. Visitors can stroll shaded paths under towering trees, enjoying the chance to cradle a koala, a highlight of the experience.

Beyond its role in fostering connections with wildlife, the park actively contributes to the preservation of endangered species such as the brush-tailed rock-wallaby, emphasising its commitment to conservation. Located 30 km northeast of Adelaide, Gorge Wildlife Park serves as a vital hub for education, appreciation, and the protection of Australia's rich biodiversity, inviting visitors to engage with nature in a meaningful and immersive way.

Come along and enjoy the company of the incredible species at Gorge Wildlife Park!
